The Volunteers of America Theodora provides independent living through housing to low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. The 134-bed adult residential care facility is located in northeast Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood. In addition to housing, the program offers daily meals, activities, medical supervision, housekeeping, laundry and bath aid services and 24-hour on-site staff.

The Theodora management carefully selects and trains their 30 employees to meet the needs of the population served. The staff includes positions in meal preparation and service, housekeeping, general maintenance, resident support and advocacy and administration. Community volunteer involvement includes resident program and activity support and facility maintenance.

The Theodora facility is funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and has a Service Coordinator Case Worker dedicated to serve residents and connecting them to community/organizational resources.
