(AFH) are private homes offering home-style living. AFH’s
offer room and board, personal care for up to six people. They
range from those that offer only room, board, and minimal
personal assistance to those that offer full personal care and
skilled nursing.
Adult Family homes are inspected,
monitored and licensed by the
Senior and Disabled Services
Division
(SDSD) or
by the local Area Agency on Aging.

presence at Fairwood Springs AFH is a plus to residents as
she can provide ongoing assessments, health monitoring, as
well as being a liaison with doctors to ensure that
