Adult Family Homes (AFH's)are private homes
offering home-style living. They offer room and board, personal care for
up to six people. They range from those that offer only room, board, and
minimal personal assistance to those that offer full personal care and
skilled nursing.
Adult Family Homes are inspected, monitored and licensed by the Senior and Disabled Services Division (SDSD) or by the local Area Agency on Aging.
